Matt is a coach and facilitator, supporting the development of individuals and organisations in leadership, change, resilience and performance.
One of Matt’s unique qualities is his ability to understand and deliver impact across many core business functions, understanding both the mechanics of these functions and most importantly, the people that drive them!
Matt brings over 20 years of public sector senior management experience in Organisational Development, Customer Services, Operations, Finance, Information Technology, Business Systems and Project Management. He has also worked in many rural locations and managed change within remote and dispersed teams.
Some of Matt’s key experiences include:
- Creating and delivering tailored programs to improve leadership and team performance, self-awareness and personal resilience;
- Managing the design and implementation of multiple organisational structure reforms to improve both service delivery and efficiency in teams;
- Project managing significant information technology and subsequent business process change at scale;
- Leading the establishment of new organisational development teams and functions, including staff retention and employee engagement strategies, performance review and learning and development programs from executive level to emerging leaders.
Matt is passionate about developing existing and aspiring leaders, helping them to build confidence, lead change and increase their impact through leadership development, coaching and mentoring. He likes to facilitate and create space for teams to have real conversations, supporting leaders to do the same with their teams.
In addition to his management qualifications and experience, Matt is a certified Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) Coach, a practitioner of the Myer Briggs Type Instrument (MBTI) and a certified Techwerks Resilience trainer.
